Our last day in Bangkok was very relaxed. We completed our packing and enjoyed lunch before riding to the airport to depart.

This was our last full day in Bangkok and we were responsible for finding our own way around by public transport. We managed without getting lost, other than a couple of short diversions, and had an interesting if tiring day.

Major item today was returning from Siem Reap to Bangkok. That required an early start so the rest of the day was confined to the area around our hotel. We will be out and about more widely tomorrow.

We had another early start and were heading for a late finish if we celebrated the local New Year at midnight. We opted to celebrate on Sydney time but will watch the fireworks here from our hotel if we happen to be awake at midnight. In the meantime we saw some of Siem Reap.
