We had an earlier start than planned but that worked out well and allowed us to fit in some other activities. The weather cooperated again.

This was a long day. We covered a lot of distance and different experiences. It rained on and off but never enough to bother us at times that mattered.

If we had to have a day with constant rain this was probably the best choice. We spent most of it in the car and other activities were mostly indoors.

It was a wet day but we still managed to get around and see some interesting sights. Our tour of Hobbiton was the feature.

We had another busy day though we did not travel as far as yesterday. A lot of our time was spent in dark places where we saw some interesting sights.

After a long day yesterday we did not want an early start. A freewheeling visit to the geothermal sites around Rotorua was suitably relaxing but offered lots to interest us.

It was a long day of mostly sitting around – in car, terminal, plane, car. We arrived at our destination in darkness and are looking forward to seeing our surrounds in the morning.
