NZ 2014 Day -1

Our bags are (almost) packed in readiness for our departure tomorrow. This time tomorrow we should be waiting for our flight from Brisbane to Christchurch NZ. We are travelling with good friends, four other couples (Jim & Fay Stein, Russell & Norma Mauch, Warwick & Colleen Dingle, and Michael & Maria Bourke), and will pick up our 12 seater rental van on Sunday morning. It may be a ‘party on wheels’ for the next two weeks.

We booked our flights months ago at a good price but we will pay for that in the schedule. Our flight out leaves Brisbane at 6:00 pm and arrives in Christchurch at 12:30 am. By the time we clear customs and immigration and make it to bed it will be some way into Sunday morning NZDT.
