The day that played hard to get

We left Niagara this morning and tried to get breakfast on the road. We couldn’t find any. We needed to get some Canadian cash. We had trouble finding an ATM. We took ages to find somewhere to have a picnic lunch. We arrived in Kingston this afternoon and the guy at the hotel desk suggested we do a sunset cruise on Lake Ontario. We tried but they don’t run their evening cruises in fall. I have a sore eye and went to a local pharmacy to get some ointment. They didn’t have any in stock.
The good thing is, we managed to eat all three meals today, have enjoyed safe travel and views of Lake Ontario, and have a comfortable bed for the night. Life is good!
