In Amish country

We have now arrived in Millersburg, which is in the heart of the Amish community in Ohio. There are wonderful quilt, craft, and woodwork shops and we were able to have a quick look through some of those this afternoon. We are staying at the historic Millersburg Hotel. The room is beautifully decorated in old world style and the walls in the hall are hung with antique quilts! An unexpected treat of the day was finding Velvet Ice Cream at the Olde Mill at Utica. Their ice creams were to die for and the venue was a delight – full of memorabilia. Another lovely day!
