Boston bound
Our travels today took us from Maine, through New Hampshire, and into Massachusetts. An interesting stop along the way was to the site of an old Shaker village in Canterbury NH, which finally closed as a community in the 1920s. They were very strict, but were also very generous and peace loving. Their handiwork is exceptional and I was pleased that Peter bought me a lovely reproduction Shaker box as a birthday gift. It is really lovely!
Our wonderful hosts for tonight are Alan and Helen Gruber, parents of our good friend Kerry Vella who is visiting here from Biloela with her two sons. What a treat to see them here. We must make the trip to Biloela sometime 🙂
